A Versatile Solution for Various Applications

Raw Wood

1. Apply the Maxwax to the surface liberally from close proximity, avoiding direct impingement from a height which can "impact feed" the wood leaving a temporary darker spot. 2. Using a rag, sponge or brush, spread the Maxwax gently over the surface to ensure good, even penetration. 3. Keep the surface from drying out for 10 to 15 minutes or so while spreading. 4. Leave to soak, the longer the soak the better the wax build on the surface (Overnight is good). 5. Buff up with a clean dry cloth to a healthy lustre. Results will improve with every application thereafter.

Barbeques

1. Maxwax is amazingly effective at removing the "fat splatter" from all non-cook surfaces of your BBQ. 2. This includes stainless steel, plastic, paint and wood. 3. Apply liberally and wipe off with a clean cloth or paper towel after a short soaking time. 4. Apply Maxwax to the stainless steel surfaces and see the finger marks disappear! 5. Allow 48 hours to dry completely after application. 6. Finally, buff to provide a surface that actually resists further finger marking.

Lacquered Surfaces

1. Apply enough Maxwax with a cloth to just moisten the surface. 2. Allow to stand for about 5 minutes. 3. Buff up to a healthy sheen with a clean dry cloth.

Plastics

Apply sparingly as you would to "lacquered surfaces"

Granite Tops

Apply as you would to "raw wood", but more sparingly

...and there is more

Remember the following uses for the product:
- Test a small area first when applying to colours to ensure desired results. - Use it to revive paint surfaces that look "flat." - It can revive sun-faded plastics such as radios, stereos, TVs, etc. - Apply as a coating to revive and protect tool surfaces like saw blades. - Use as a metal coating to help prevent tarnish on copper, brass, and silver. - It can enhance and protect granite, stone, and terrazzo surfaces. - Use it to remove sticky labels from bottles. - Apply as a furniture polish for all wooden articles, whether natural, oiled, or lacquered. - It helps hide scratches on wooden and lacquered surfaces and removes water markings. - Apply as a protective coating for exterior furniture to retard "greying" and reduce cracking. - Use on raw wood to bring out the natural grain and colour. - It can be used on city outdoor furniture and fencing to prevent graffiti from sticking.

Instructions

Please remember the following instructions for using Maxwax
- Always shake the bottle before use to ensure good mixing. - Maxwax "cleans while it polishes" and may strip off softer waxes and replace them, which may not be effective for enhancing wood with stains. - Excessive buffing may be needed if too much Maxwax is applied on a lacquered surface. Use a paper towel to remove excess if necessary. - If the first coat is applied too thinly on raw wood, it will not develop adequate colour. Flood the first coat and allow 10 to 15 minutes for soaking. - Ensure the wax is evenly spread on raw wood, and the surface is kept "moist" during the soaking stage. - Avoid squirting Maxwax directly onto raw wood from a height to prevent leaving a darker mark. - For best results, apply and allow to stand overnight before buffing. - Maxwax repels water but does not completely seal against ingress. Do not allow water to "stand" on the wood surface. - To remove a watermark, apply Maxwax liberally to the affected area and allow it to soak overnight. If unsuccessful, sanding removal is required. - Keep Maxwax away from naked flames and other sources of ignition. - Keep out of reach of children and seek medical attention in case of ingestion.
